  • PRAGUE AREA STUDIES: Master’s Degree Programmes in English

Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague offers four interdisciplinary Master’s Degree Programmes taught in English for the academic year 2015/2016. These programmes are coordinated under the label "Prague Area Studies" (PRAREAS) and focused on distinctive areas: the countries of Eurasia and Central, East and South East Europe, the German-speaking countries, European Union and North America.

  • Transkulturelle Kommunikation

Das Institut für Kultur- und Religionswissenschaft, Pädagogische Fakultät, Universität von Hradec Kralové, Tschechien, bietet derzeit zwei Bachelor-Studiengänge an: Transkulturelle Kommunikation und Religiöse Erziehung. Die Abteilung konzentriert sich auf die kritische Analyse der aktuellen gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Phänomene, sowohl in den Kursen und in den Forschungsaktivitäten des wissenschaftlichen Personals. Die MitarbeiterInnen haben ihre Ausbildung in: Geschichte, Kulturwissenschaft, Theologie, Medizin, Soziologie, Psychologie, Politikwissenschaft und Europäische Studien.

  • EUROPEAN SUMMER SCHOOL IN PRAGUE

The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 12 day learning programme focused on European integration. It is organized by one of the leading think-tanks in Prague, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, in co-operation with Prague College and the Charles University Faculty of Social Sciences.
This year’s European Summer School is titled “Challenges for Europe – regional integration in a fragmented world”.  How does the EU operate in an increasingly polarised world? How does it react to its internal challenges? Find out in Prague, at the 13th annual European Summer School.
The title of this year’s summer school is "Challenges for Europe: Regional Integration in a Fragmented World." The lectures will be divided thematically into three modules, covering the most challenging areas of today – external relations, internal political challenges and economic aspects of the integration.
