Pat and Mat and other animations from 29th May to 7th June

60th Zlín Film Festival presents an online showcase of short animations for children. International Film Festival for Children and Youth Zlín Film Festival – the oldest and largest film festival of its kind in the world – celebrates its 60th edition!

Starting May 29 the city of Zlín would have turned into one big celebration of children´s film. However due to the global situation caused by COVID-19 it had to be postponed to the autumn dates – September 4 to 10, 2020. As a symbolic gesture to remind the kick-out the organizers have prepared an online showcase of short Czech animations for children. This set is targeted at the youngest audience and tells funny stories from everyday lives of men and animals. Children can admire various animation techniques including the puppets of the most famous clumsy duo of handymen Pat and Mat.

Zlín Film Festival is happy to cooperate with Faculty of Multimedia Communication of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Centres and DAFilms.
